Disclaimer

Last updated: July 3, 2026

This Disclaimer applies to the PDFCone website, available at https://pdfcone.com/, and the PDFCone Android application (together, the “Services”). By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge the limitations and responsibilities described below.

Important summary

  • PDFCone provides document and image tools on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
  • You must check every generated PDF or image before relying on it.
  • You should keep backup copies of important original files.
  • Some files may fail because of corruption, encryption, unsupported features, size, memory, or device limitations.
  • You are responsible for having permission to process and share the files you use.
  • Advertisements and external links are provided by third parties and are not endorsements by PDFCone.

1. General information

PDFCone provides PDF and image-processing tools, articles, guides, and related information for general personal, educational, and productivity purposes. Features may include image resizing, signature resizing, image-to-PDF conversion, PDF-to-image conversion, PDF merging, PDF cropping, and other document-related functions.

The Services are intended to assist users, but they do not replace independent review, professional judgment, official validation, or secure backup practices.

2. No professional advice

Information, articles, examples, and tool outputs provided through PDFCone do not constitute legal, financial, medical, tax, business, regulatory, or other professional advice.

You should consult an appropriately qualified professional before relying on a document or statement for an important legal, financial, medical, regulatory, contractual, or official purpose.

3. Accuracy of tools and user verification

PDFCone is designed to produce useful PDF and image outputs, but PDFCone does not guarantee that every result will be complete, accurate, properly formatted, compatible with every application, or suitable for a particular purpose.

You are responsible for opening and reviewing every generated file before you:

  • Submit it to a school, employer, government authority, business, or other organization
  • Print, publish, email, upload, distribute, or archive it
  • Delete or overwrite the original file
  • Use it for an official, legal, financial, professional, or time-sensitive purpose

Page order, crop boundaries, image quality, dimensions, orientation, metadata, transparency, fonts, annotations, hyperlinks, form fields, signatures, and other document features may be altered, lost, flattened, or rendered differently depending on the file and the tool used.

4. Backups and file safety

You should keep secure backup copies of important original PDFs, images, signatures, and other documents before using PDFCone. Do not delete an original file until you have confirmed that the processed output opens correctly and contains the expected content.

PDFCone is not responsible, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, for problems such as:

  • Accidental deletion, replacement, or overwriting of files
  • Incomplete, corrupt, unreadable, or missing output files
  • Insufficient storage, memory, battery, or device resources
  • Interrupted processing caused by the device, browser, operating system, or another app
  • Changes made by file managers, gallery apps, cloud-storage services, backup tools, or third-party software

5. Corrupt, encrypted, unsupported, or unusually large files

PDFCone may be unable to process files that are corrupt, incomplete, password-protected, encrypted, unusually large, highly complex, or based on unsupported formats or PDF features.

Processing may also fail because of device memory, browser restrictions, Android version, available storage, operating-system limitations, malformed source data, or third-party library limitations. A failed or partial operation does not guarantee that the source file or intended output can be recovered.

PDFCone does not claim to remove, defeat, or bypass passwords, encryption, digital-rights controls, access controls, or other security measures.

6. Local document processing and data handling

PDFCone’s document tools are designed to process selected PDF and image contents locally in your browser or on your Android device. PDFCone does not intentionally upload document contents to a PDFCone document-processing server.

This local-processing design does not mean that the website or app makes no network connections. Advertising, consent management, website hosting, security, app distribution, and related third-party services may process limited technical, usage, diagnostic, consent, or advertising information as explained in the PDFCone Privacy Policy.

Files may also be handled by other services when you choose to open, share, back up, upload, email, or save them through another application, cloud provider, operating-system feature, or external service.

7. Service availability and changes

PDFCone is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. PDFCone does not guarantee that the Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, compatible with every device or browser, or available in every location.

PDFCone may add, remove, suspend, modify, limit, or discontinue features, supported formats, storage locations, interface elements, advertisements, or parts of the Services when reasonably necessary for maintenance, security, compatibility, policy compliance, technical improvement, or business reasons.

8. Third-party advertising and Google AdMob

The PDFCone Android app may display advertisements provided by third-party advertising services, including Google AdMob. The PDFCone website may also display advertising through services such as Google AdSense.

Ad availability, format, frequency, personalization, content, and delivery may vary according to your region, consent choices, device settings, Google settings, advertiser demand, and technical conditions.

Interstitial advertisements in the Android app are intended to appear at transition points after completed operations rather than during active file processing. PDFCone does not guarantee that an advertisement will be available after every eligible operation.

Displaying an advertisement does not mean that PDFCone recommends, verifies, guarantees, sponsors, or endorses the advertised company, product, service, claim, price, offer, application, or website.

Any purchase, registration, download, communication, subscription, or other interaction with an advertiser is between you and that advertiser. Review the advertiser’s own terms, privacy policy, refund policy, safety information, and eligibility requirements before taking action.

10. User responsibility, permissions, and lawful use

You are responsible for the documents, images, signatures, and other files that you select, process, edit, convert, crop, merge, save, or share using PDFCone.

You should use PDFCone only with content that:

  • Belongs to you or that you are authorized to process
  • Does not violate another person’s privacy, confidentiality, copyright, trademark, contract, or other rights
  • May lawfully be edited, converted, stored, submitted, or distributed by you

You must not use PDFCone to facilitate unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, infringing, or unauthorized activity. You must not use the Services to misrepresent an altered document as authentic, evade a lawful restriction, impersonate another person, or interfere with another person’s rights.

PDFCone does not inspect locally processed files to confirm ownership or authorization and is not responsible for a user’s unauthorized or unlawful use of the Services.

11. No warranty

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PDFCone makes no express or implied warranty regarding the Services, including any warranty of accuracy, reliability, availability, security, compatibility, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, or non-infringement.

PDFCone does not warrant that every error will be corrected, that every file will be processed, that every output will meet your requirements, or that third-party advertisements and services will be accurate, available, safe, or suitable.

Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes a warranty, consumer protection, remedy, or other right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PDFCone and its owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or business-related losses arising from or connected with the use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Services, tool outputs, advertisements, or external links.

Examples may include:

  • Loss, corruption, alteration, deletion, or disclosure of files or data
  • Missed deadlines, rejected submissions, printing errors, or formatting problems
  • Loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, reputation, or business continuity
  • Device, browser, storage, network, or compatibility problems
  • Transactions, disputes, or losses involving advertisers or other third parties
  • Reliance on incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable output

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it will be limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law. This section does not exclude liability for matters that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

13. Google Play, Google services, and other third parties

The PDFCone Android app may be distributed through Google Play and may use Google services such as Google Mobile Ads and the Google User Messaging Platform. These services are operated by Google and are governed by Google’s applicable terms and policies.

PDFCone is independently developed and is not sponsored, endorsed, certified, or operated by Google unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Third-party service names and trademarks belong to their respective owners. References to them are provided only to identify services used by or accessible through PDFCone.

14. Changes to this Disclaimer

PDFCone may update this Disclaimer when the website, Android app, tools, advertising services, third-party integrations, legal requirements, or business practices change.

A revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Services after an update is subject to the revised Disclaimer.
