PDFcone was born out of a simple frustration: every online PDF tool I tried either demanded my email address, put a watermark on my document, or uploaded my files to a server I knew nothing about. I wanted something better — tools that respect your privacy, work instantly, and don't ask for anything in return.
I'm a solo developer who regularly handles sensitive documents — contracts, tax forms, personal records. I got tired of the anxiety that comes with uploading those files to random servers. So I built PDFcone from scratch, using JavaScript libraries that process everything directly in your browser. Your files never leave your device. That's not a marketing slogan; you can test it yourself by turning off your internet after loading any tool — it still works.
What started as a personal collection of scripts has grown into a full toolkit used by thousands of people every month. And I've kept it free because I believe basic PDF tools shouldn't be locked behind paywalls.
We recently added a free Add Watermark tool – check it out if you need to stamp documents.
Most "free" PDF tools make money by harvesting your data or selling your email address. PDFcone doesn't do that. There's no account to create, no email to collect, and no server to receive your files. The entire toolkit is open about what it does: client‑side processing, period. If you're handling confidential documents, that's the only safe approach.
The site is supported by non‑intrusive advertising. You might see a small ad while using the tools, but there are no pop‑ups, no forced redirects, and no tracking scripts that follow you around the web. I've chosen this model to keep the core tools free forever, with the possibility of optional premium features in the future for power users who need even more.
I read every message. If you have feedback, feature requests, or just want to say hello, reach out through the Contact page or email me directly at pdfcone@gmail.com.
Thank you for choosing a tool that respects your privacy.
